We’ve tasted Gin and Vodka, now it’s time for some Whiskey! Because of the variety of Whiskey being made here, our category is “New American Whiskey” which includes bourbon. So the panel will actually be tasting whiskey and bourbon, singling out their favorites.
Just in time to herald privatization of liquor sales in Washington, we present Northwest Liquor Night. Watch as we introduce you to the distilled spirits being created in not only Washington, but Idaho, Oregon, and northern California as well. Much like it’s sibling projects, each episode of Northwest Liquor Night will introduce you to locally made adult beverages. Our panelists will taste each product, talk about it, then recommend their favorite. We’ll also feature a group of people in “The Lounge” who are tasting the liquors. In future episodes, this group will actually taste the liquors mixed as a cocktail.
We are once again at Dry Fly Distilling in Spokane for Episode 4. Host Brian Calvert is joined by former TV newscaster Lucinda Kay, KXLY’s Dennis Patchin, local spa owner Emily Gant, and Pia Hallenberg of the Spokane Spokesman Review.
(SPOILER ALERT: Scroll down any further, and you’ll see the names of the whiskeys tasted in this episodes. Most fans do not want to know this information before they watch the show. You can always returns here after the show to get the names of the liquors tasted.)
