Northwest Liquor Night The Straight Shot on the Northwest's Best Spirits!
We’re back from the holiday break with a brand new episode, and a new way of doing things on Northwest Liquor Night! Starting with this episode, we taste two different brands of the same liquor. Then in the second half, we taste the same liquor mixed as a cocktail. As the viewer, you’re able to see what the panelists prefer straight, and their favorite as a mixed drink.

You’re one-up on the panelists: All they know is that they’re drinking bourbon. They wont know the names or brands until after they’ve talked about them and picked a favorite as a straight-shot and a favorite as a cocktail.
Host Brian Calvert is joined by panelists Denise Whitaker of KOMO 4 News, Nick Eaton of SeattlePI.com, and Kurt Cruse and Corine McKenzie of Star 101.5. We filmed this episode inside Sport Restaurant and Bar, which is in downtown Seattle across the street from the Space Needle. This is the first time we’ve had a “live” audience…and you’ll hear them in the background.
