NEW! Podcast Coming Soon

You enjoying watching Northwest Liquor Night in part, because we get right to the point and help you find local spirits made by local distillers.

Now, we want to present more information on the industry and the people who are part of it.

TheLounge_CustmLogoDesign_opt04

On a regular basis, we plan on releasing new episodes of “The Lounge Podcast.”  These will be quick, 5 minute interviews with distillers and others in the industry who offer more information.  As part of “The Lounge” you’ll also hear from wine makers and the craft brewers of the region.

The point is to give you more in-depth information, as we all support our local industry.

The first podcast will be posted July 1st here on the website.

We’re Filming at David’s Place

We’re bringing the show to Wine World and Spirits!

We’ve taped episodes of our sibling Northwest Wine Night here before, and it’s a great place!  Locally owned, this store also has the largest selected of locally made spirits.  Owner David LeClaire tells me if it’s made in the Northwest, he has it…or can get it for you!

So this place is a great fit for what we do.  Just like our show, Wine World and Spirits supports the local producer!

Watch for the episodes taped at Wine World and Spirits to hit our website mid-May through the end of June!

Hey Ballard! Filming at Captive

We’re very excited to be filming in Ballard!

Holly and Ben at Captive Spirits are fans of Northwest Liquor Night, and they’ve invited us to film some new episodes of the show at their place.  We’ll be filming there soon.

The best part:  Captive Spirits represents a large number of small distillers in the region.  The operation isn’t huge, and the setting is intimate.  These are the places where some real “magic” happens, and we’re excited to show off one of the premiere small distillers in Washington.

Watch for these episodes to air in late March through early May.

Taping Again Soon: We Need Your Spirits

We’re filming four new episodes of Northwest Liquor Night in late February or early March, and it would be great to have your liquor on the show!

The field is wide-open, so if you make distilled spirits, let us know what you’re willing to send, and we’ll book a space (or two) for you.   You can read more about how to submit product and what’s required here:

Book Your Product on the Show!

We also need a cool place to film these episodes!  Again, we’re looking at a Sunday afternoon in late February or early March at your restaurant, distillery, lounge, or other cool venue.  For more information on hosting a filming:

First Full Season Premieres November 16th

One of the newest liquor shows online is back for a full season!

In it’s first four episodes alone, over a quarter-million people watched Northwest Liquor Night…making it easy to decide to film an entire, 24 episode season.  Production will be underway soon, and new episodes of Northwest Liquor Night resume Friday, November 16th.

Host Brian Calvert returns with his panel of friends from the local media, and they are ready to taste some of the best spirits made in the Pacific Northwest.  New this season…episodes will premiere every other Friday.  We found that leaving new episodes up on our homepage for two weeks gets them much more exposure for sponsors, and gives viewers more flexibility to watch the show when they want to.

There will be 24 episodes filmed over the next several months, and right now, our production team is looking for locations in the Seattle, Portland, and Spokane areas for tapings.  If you’d like to host a taping, or would like to receive our “New Client Kit” with information about advertising or getting your product on the show, contact us via Bartender@NorthwestLiquorNight.com.

Milestone: 100,000 views and climbing!

Northwest Liquor Night is becoming the fastest growing show about spirits on the Internet…with Episode 3 alone garnering 58,000 views and climbing!

We thank you for watching, and we thank everyone who has been a part of the show since the beginning!  Part of this success is thanks to Spokane…where we filmed our first episodes.  Don Poffenroth of Dry Fly Distillery was an awesome host, and we had a really fun panel that night.

And then there’s YOU!  Thank you for watching, and for sharing Northwest Liquor Night with your friends!

Make sure you’re following us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates.

UPDATE: 3 space left in our premiere episodes

We’re very excited to announce that production is about to get underway for the first full episodes of Northwest Liquor Night.

We’re launching the show in Spokane, and we’re very happy to announce we’ll tape our first four episodes in mid May at Dry Fly Distilling. Thanks so much to Don, Kent, and Patrick for hosting us and helping us launch Northwest Liquor Night!

As of now, the shows are mostly full.  We have three spaces left in these first episodes.

Even though we’re filming our first four episodes in Spokane, we want to taste liquor from all over the Northwest. Contact us now to reserve a place for your spirits on these first episodes.

First episode will air here on our website Thursday, May 31st!

First episodes will be filmed in Spokane

We will launch Northwest Liquor Night from the same place where Washington’s first legal distillery was born…Spokane, Washington!

We plan on filming our first 4 episodes in Spokane in early May.  It’s important to note that while Spokane will be our setting, we want to taste liquor from all over the Northwest and northern California.

Help us get Northwest Liquor Night off the ground…

ADVERTISERS: To make this trip, we need local advertisers to step-forward.  Spaces are as little as $59 for exposure over four episodes! Contact us and we’ll get a rate card to you right away.

HOTEL: We need rooms for our crew, and we’re looking for a hotel who will partner with us in exchange for ad space on our website, and mentions during the show.  Contact us right away and let’s talk!

BOOZE: Last, but certainly not least…We have openings for 12 different liquors to be featured on the first four episodes of Northwest Wine Night (3 per episode). Spots are first come, first served (limit two spots per distillery). There are just two requirements to get your product on our show for as little as $59 plus product. Contact us and we’ll send all the information.

Host a taping of Northwest Liquor Night

Northwest Liquor Night tapes on location in some of the coolest restaurants and lounges in the Seattle-area (there will be taping opportunities in other areas). To host a taping, the host restaurant/lounge agrees to the following:

1. Provide a well-lit, private area large enough for our set (at least 100 square feet of floor space)
2. Provide glasses for the taping. We need up to 64 glasses, though not all at once.
3. Provide appetizers for our guest panelists (8 people total) so they can cleanse their palate.
4. Provide a server who is licensed to open and pour the liquor we supply for the taping.
5. Purchase any size ad on our website.

Our host also agrees to use their social media streams (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc) and/or in-restaurant marketing (fliers, table toppers) to promote the fact that they’ve hosted a taping of Northwest Wine Night.

Tapings last approximately 3.5 hours from set-up to tear-down.
