EPISODE 14 — It’s colorless, odorless, and yet there are so many different people making here in the Northwest, there are bound to be some delicious differences!  On this episode of Northwest Liquor Night, we have a couple of Northwest-made Vodkas to taste!  And tonight it’s the rivalry between the two biggest cities in the Northwest, Seattle and Portland.  The panelists had a great time taking shots of these vodkas,  then as part of a cocktail.

EPISODE 13 — How about some great whiskey?  There is a lot of delicious whiskey being made in our region, and tonight, we taste two slightly different types.  On this episode of Northwest Liquor Night, we have a couple of Northwest-made whiskeys for our panel to taste!  First, they’ll taste them as straight shots, then as part of a cocktail.  The cocktail is a good one and we’ve included the recipe in the show!

EPISODE 12 — It’s nearly the end of our first full season, and we have another FIRST for the show.  For the first time ever on Northwest Liquor Night, we have a couple of Northwest-made Rums to taste!  This is a tough category to fill, but we found a couple of local rums and the panelists had a great time drinking them as straight shots first, then as part of a cocktail (can you guess which cocktail we tried before watching the show?)

When we say Gin, you think “Gin and Tonic?”  It’s one of the more popular mixed drinks at the bar, but we’ve already had this classic on the show.  So, with two new gins to taste, we’re serving up a “Gin Rickey” to our panelists on this episode.

Tonight, we debut a brand new category of liquor!  The panelists really seemed to enjoy our two Canadian Whiskey contenders.  The coolest part…these whiskeys were made and aged in Canada, then shipped here, where they were bottled by distillers in this country.

 

We’ll taste two delicious Canadian Whiskeys first as a straight shot.  Then with the same liquor, we’ll taste it mixed as a cocktail…giving you two different perspectives.  In Episode 9, we’re tasting:
